Failed Marriage Proposals

They say..."we learn from history that we learn nothing from history" contradictory but very true. So I was watching the news the other morning (Monday Feb 15th) the day after the overrated holiday---"Valentine's Day"

So this dude Nick has taken his GF out to a basketball game at Times Square, and during the half time, decides to propose to her....

The big screen displays have the most romantic (haha) note from Nick...goes something like, "

"Melyssa, will you be my blueshirt ....something something....bride? Love Nick"

The chick in disbilief...everyone in the hall touched by this bold move is in awe!

I bet Nick was 110% sure that he scored this...until Melyssa heartlessly walked out on him. I'm pretty sure even if dude didn't know who Kanye west is, he was just humming...."how could you be so heartless....dum, dum, dum, dum...as the beat goes...

After watching the news I wanted to see this again so I got on YouTube (ofcourse I had to go through the Clad Nine YouTube Channel lol) and what do u know??? There's a bunch of other dudes who have gone through the same ordeal...maybe worse....like this guy. Not only is he rejected, the chic slaps him right in the face. Ouch!!!

Lesson #1: Fellas, don't propose in public (take her out in the woods and do it there where no one is watching)

Lesson #2: If you absolutely have to do it in public, make sure you're on the same page with her. Some chics don't like surprises...I don't blame them.

Lesson #3: Even after the rejection, stay true to your dream of wanting to get married. You know how our saying goes; "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve..." Shit, stay true to your dreams homie, and don't you ever compromise your integrity either"

Stay up!!

Peace!
